Finding Myself Again
I had 4 children and 3 of them were born exactly 2 years apart. My first was born in May 1994, my second was born in March 2002 my third was born in March 2004 and my fourth was born in April 2006. I feel like I have been pregnant for 4 years....WHEW!! :o) My youngest is 2 months old and I feel FAT! eeeewwww! My average weight was around 140 and I was very happy with that. I fit into a size 10-11 and I looked good. However, I got very lazy over the last 3 years and I gained a heck of alot of weight.
For my 3rd pregnancy I ballooned up to 215 pounds. After the birth I stayed at 210 then spiked up to 222. When I looked into the mirror I thought..."OMG, Where is Jenni???" Then I started to workout and lost about 20 pounds. But I still felt like garbage. Then my husband and I thought that if we wanted to have more children that we should do it now rather than later. SO.....we planned out another little baby and within a few months we found out we were gonna have another cutie pie.
Once we found out we were going to have another baby, I was back up to 218 pounds. I promised that I would take very good care of myself for this pregnancy. I spiked up to 250 lbs. WOW!!! However, within 4 weeks after the birth, I was down to 205 lbs. Pretty good progress I thought...But I wanted to see my face again.
So, I officially started the Body-For-LIFE 12 week Challenge on June 19th
I have been doing very well with the eating and the exercise. I'm actually very surprised with myself. Surprised and happy!!!!!
I just started week 2 and I feel great. My free day wasn't what I expected. I thought that I would have gorged on chips, pop, cake, candies, CHOCOLATE!!!! :oD But I had 2 restricted meals and a chocolate bar but then at around 5pm I got to the point where I just couldn't take it. YUCK!!! I felt like garbage. So, I had a healthy meal for supper and a protein shake to finish off the day.
On to week 2...YAY!!!
