Lotsa Pictures
Just thought I would let you all know that I posted 5 posts today full of pictures. So feel free to scroll down and have fun looking at my family having fun....:oD.
After my last post, I thought I would post more pictures of the camping trip the kids had with Tim last week. They had an amazing time. They are STILL telling me stories about it......lol
Korey loved the trip
Here are the 4 kids just after eating breakfast after the first night there. Can you see the Nutella on the 4 year old's face. haha
I've been feeling kind of yucky lately. Not sure why. I think it has alot to do with my stress levels. They haven't been this high for a long time.
My son is going away for a year and I just finished a 4 week long summer vacation with all of the children in the house. That makes 7 kids. I love to have them and it is great fun when it's fun. Especially when we have movie night (very snugly kids we got there) But, whew, it's alot of work. Now the girls have gone back home and we are down to 4. Which won't last long 'cause my son is leaving for a year to live with his dad........(sigh, sigh, and double sigh). We have shared custody and he lives one year with me and one with his dad. Been doing that for about 9 years now. I miss him like hell every second year......but he loves the swapping so ....whatever makes him happy right?
Of all of the kids, he is the one that I chat with the most. I had him at 18 so we kinda grew up together and he's a wonderful boy. I'm gonna miss him with everything I have (in tears right now). I get heart broken every time he leaves. He will be leaving on September 3rd **sob**.
Here are a few pictures of my wonderful son....:o) Taken during the camping trip last week.
He thinks he looks cool with that "sly" look in his face..... tee hee. He does doesn't he....cutie Korey.
There was a man who entered a local paper's pun contest. He sent in ten different puns, in the hope that at least one of the puns would win. Unfortunately, no pun in ten did.
Well, Tim took the 4 oldest, excluding the 14 year old, camping yesterday. They left at around 11:00am. I have been alone (so to speak) for a whole 30 hours. I have the 2 year old and the 4 month old here with me and it has been like heaven. I actually got the whole house cleaned and all of the laundry done to boot. YAY!!! With all of those positive things, I still miss the pants off of all the kiddos (and hubby of course). I find it TOO quiet.....can you believe this???? LOL
I miss them....but when I am able to clean a room and be able to return 2 hours later and not have it trashed.....I AM A HAPPY CAMPER!!! (no pun intended):oD.
I am actually bored right now....(no offense).
My little 2 year old has been doing wonderfully with his potty training. He's so smart....cutie kid. The 4 month old is rolling around from back to belly and he loves to chew on stuff. I can't wait to see that little tooth appear. Even after 4 kids I get mushy over things like that (*sigh*)
Tim called this morning and they are having such a great time that they are going to stay one more night.....ACTUALLY....it rained the whole time yesterday so he wanted to stay one more night to be able to give the kids a better experience hahaha. Oh, and they rented a campground that has a wasp nest about 30 feet away from the tent (poor littles). So, they switched the camp spot for tonight. Gonna eat smores and roast hot dogs and all that great camping stuff. YAY for them!!!!!!!!
Well, I'm gonna go colour some Blue's Clues pages with my 2 year old :oD. Ain't life grand? YES IT IS!!!
This is me now....I actually like this picture...:oP. Considering you couldn't see my eyes before because my face was soooo chubby. Slimming down baby!!!!
Well I got my HIIT in today. That is a big accomplishment for me lately. I hate HIIT and I think I always will. However, my husband brought my son to his soccer game last night and came home with a brand new pair of running shoes for me. YAY! They were a half size too small but it was a sweet thing to do. Hey, do feet grow? I have to ask because I seem to have gone up a whole size and a half since 2001. CRAZY!!!!! I'm a 9 1/2 now. I was an 8 in 2001, had 3 babies and now it jacked up to a 9 1/2. I feel like a Momma Bigfoot lol. Anyway, if anyone has a logical answer to this.....PLEASE let me in on it....haha. Well, I gotta get going ......we have lots to do. Tim is bringing the 4 older kids camping and we have to get them organized for it. That means I get some time with only 2 kids.......YAY! YAY! YAY!
Well, my favorite and least favorite time of year is just around the bend. Wonderful, beautiful, amazing.........Autum :o) . I love the smell of the crisp air, the cooling breeze and just the whole feel of that season all together. BUT, (there is always a but isn't there) something else happens at this time of year that I could never get used to no matter how many times it happens. My oldest son is going into grade 6 and he is growing up sooooo fast. I'm going to miss him when he goes to his dad's for the year. To explain a little more, my ex and I have been sharing custody of our son for the past 10 years and he has been living one year with me and one year with his Dad. I live in Ontario and his father lives in New Brunswick. Most people thought that it was not a great idea to do this but........our son actually enjoys the swapping. He gets the best of both worlds this way. Even though I miss him more and more every year, I know his dad takes very good care of him and I never have to worry about his health or well being. My ex gives me the same respect when his year rolls around without our son. My husband works for Air Canada and we fly practically for free so we get to see him many times throughout the year when he is with his father. We offer this great oppertunity to my ex when Korey (my son) is living with us. It's a nice arrangement and our son enjoys it but my heart breaks in a million pieces every time he leaves. We are going to miss him sooooo much. I hate my favorite time of year.......*sigh*. On a lighter note, my little 4 year old is starting JK this September. I can't get over how fast time flies. It seems like just yesterday he was learning how to walk....well, shimmy really ;o). <-a little inside joke----teehee. But, I am so excited to show him where his big brother has been going every morning for the past year :o). We got him his very own, brand new backpack (spiderman of course) and he wears it every day. We don't even know if he needs one for JK but my husband is just as excited as he is and brought him out to get a new backpack for school. LOL Another baby turning into a boy...(woah is me) :o). Here I go rambling again.........sorry about that. But thanks for listening while I vent......again.lol Well, I gotta go and post my workout :oD.
Well, today was a bit of a challenge. I just didn't want to do my weights. Been feeling kind of stressed out lately.......My 7 year old step-daughter has a problem with taking things and hiding them to have for herself later on. Mostly just candy from other siblings, but frequent enough for us to think that it's a problem. It's tough to deal with because I never did have that problem before with my own children. *sigh* But I also have to consider that she comes from a home (her mother) where she feels deprived of so many things that she feels the need to take things and hide them. She said that she is scared that she will never get that particular item again. It's sad I know but it has to be dealt with no matter how sad it may sound.....right? *gasp* I love all 3 of my step-daughters so much and I want what is best for them. I don't treat them any different then my own children. I just hope that how we raise them in our home is enough to give them guidance through life. Every day I hope that I am not looked at, through their eyes, as the ugly step-monster who always has to have rules that they hate to live by. I NEVER want to be the reason why they "don't visit Dad because Jenni is there." It's a fear that digs deep inside of me. So, that's been the past 2 weeks plus in a nut shell.....a bit stressful but it's all good...:oD
Onto other things.....like exercises. Today I did my UBWO and I feel like I'm getting weaker. Not sure what's happening with my body but it took alot of effort to get through my workout. Here is what I did today. No chages from last week 'cept I had to lower my weights in a couple of exercises....(what's up with that?????)
Bench Press 12 x 40 10 x 50 8 x 60 6 x 70 12 x 55 Incline Bench Press 12 x 30
Shoulder Press (dumbells) 12 x 20 (10lbs each) 10 x 20 8 x 20 6 x 25 (12.5lbs each) 12 x 25 Upright Row (barbell) 12 x 50
Supinated Bent Over Row 12 x 50 10 x 60 8 x 60 6 x 65 12 x 60 Straight Arm Extention (dumbell) 12 x 20
Lying Tricep Extentions (dumbells) 12 x 15 (7.5lbs each) 10 x 15 8 x 20 (10lbs each) 6 x 25 (12.5lbs each) 12 x 20 Dips 12
Curls (curl bar) 12 x 20 10 x 25 8 x 30 6 x 35 12 x 20 Reverse Curls 12 x 20
Well that's what I've been up to for the last few days....sorry for the long post but it's nice to vent sometimes. :oD THANKS!!!
A Friend Should Be Radical... They should love you when you're unlovable, Hug you when you're unhuggable, And bear you when you're unbearable. A Friend should be Fanatical... They should cheer when the whole world boos, Dance when you get good news, And cry when you cry too. But most of all, a Friend should be Mathematical... They should multiply the joy, Divide the sorrow, Subtract the past, And add to tomorrow, Calculate the need deep in your heart, And always be bigger than the sum of all their parts.
I stole this from Connie (my sis) who stole it from Jess....LOL... :oP Very fun to do...teehee. Even the kids and hubby got into it....lol.........Had lotsa fun.

Had a wisdom tooth removed (darn things) on monday so that set me back a few days where HIIT and heavy weights were concerned. BUT, yesterday I did a regular 20 minute cardio and today I threw it into high gear and pushed myself to the max with my weights....I feel tired....but WOW I feel great.

I am at a huge breaking point in my weight loss. I am on day 54 and......I AM NOW AT 196LBS....WOO HOO!!!!! Just last Monday I weighed in at 201. Can you beleive this? I was in tears. I mean, I heard about the magic week and to "just stick to it" but I got discouraged soooo many times and thought that it would NEVER happen to me. But it did. I know it doesn't sound like much to some people....but I was working like a dog and, nothing. Now I am motivated....BRING IT ON!!! I'm sorry if I'm boasting....no I'm not....hahahahaha.(sniff sniff)
Today I did my LBWO and it felt gooooodd.
I don't have time to mark all of it but I'll plug it in later.
Until my next post....WWWOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

AUGUST 10th (Thursday)
Did my HIIT today......it was tough but I got it in.
I want to say thank you to my sister for posting a motivating message to me....she reassured me that I'm not the only one out there that struggles with my particular challenges. Thanks Connie!!!! :o)
Well today I did my HIIT and it was tough. I don't know why but MAN I have been having a tough time getting the drive to do them. I get them done but grrrrrr....I would rather do weights any day. Oh well.....I really need the cardio to get this flab off :oP. I always feel much better when it's done though. :o)
As far as eating goes, I am doing pretty well. I don't cheat throughout the week...but my Free day ALWAYS turns into a free day (Saturday) AND a cheat day (Sunday) **sigh*** :o( . I missed my last HIIT on Sunday and I can't seem to stick it into my schedule to make up for it......groan.
I gotta go....hubby is gone for a bike ride with the little ones......(they LOVE the new bike trailor) and I get some ME time....sooooo I'll take it :oD.
Well today is day 50 of my BFL Challenge. Can you beleive it? YAY for me.
I have been doing great with my strength training but MAN it is tough getting those darn HIIT's in...(groan) I do get them in but it takes everything I have to start.
My free day, Saturday, was just a sack of nothing great......which turned into a cheat day on Sunday. I ate well all day until my husband decided to bake sweet rolls. (i had 3 *sigh*)
Did my UBWO this morning.....here it is-----
Squats (Barbell) 12 x 60 10 x 70 8 x 80 6 x 90 12 x 95 Leg Extentions 12 x 50 I know I can do more weight for the squats but my shoulders (well spine really)just can't take the weight...*sigh*. I'll look into buying a squat bar next week. :oD
Leg curls 12 x 25 10 x 30 8 x 30 6 x 35 12 x 30 Straight Leg Dead Lift (Barbell) 12 x 60
1 Leg Calf Raise 12 x 20 10 x 20 8 x 20 6 x 20 12 x 15 1 leg calf raise (couldn't think of anything else) 12 x 15

Pretty good work out.
Next LBWO I will bring up the Leg Extentions to 55lbs. I will Bring up all weight for the Squats by 5lbs. For the crunches, I will do 2 counts to begin and bring it to 4 and back down to a 2 count (including reverse).
"Renew your body; rejuvenate your life!" I love that quote! :o)
Well, today I did my LBWO and I feel like I just can't get in enough weight for my squats. My shoulders are just too weak to get enough on them to reach my full potential for the squat. I have a home gym and I am very limited to the exercises I can do. BUT I reach my 10's for most everything else....I'll look into other alternatives tonight for home gymers ;o)
Here is where I am at with my LBWO's------- Squats 12x50lbs 10x60lbs 8x70lbs 6x80lbs 12x80lbs (can do more) Leg Extention 12x40lbs (will bring up to 50 next LBWO) Leg Curls 12x25lbs 10x25lbs 8x25lbs 6x30lbs 12x25lbs Straight leg dead lift 12x60lbs 1 leg calf raise 12x15lbs 10x15lbs 8x15lbs 6x20lbs 12x20lbs Seated calf raise 12x180lbs
Crunches on ball 12, 10, 8, 6, Reverse crunches 12
Sorry it's so long but I tend to look into my blog alot and it's easy to keep track on here :o)
I hope everyone is doing great.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WONDERFUL DAY!!!! Until my next post.........
Well my week started off OK but I was ready to stop all this BFL stuff and go back to what I always did in the past.....cardio, cardio, cardio.
But then I took my 6 week pictures and..........holy moly!...There is a change in my body that I can't even discribe. It's great. Now I feel motivated again and I had an AWSOME HIIT this morning. It's so tough for me to get to my 10's lately because I always feel like I could be doing it harder. Tim always tells me that if I'm still sweating when I get out of the shower that I reached my 10's and not to worry about it. :o)
My sister has been running for about 8 months now and she has been enjoying the results. I was chatting with her today and she encouraged me to start running too. She guided me to a great place to get the runners I need and gave me an awsome motivational speach. All I have to do now is buy the shoes and off I go.....:o). I just hope I don't collapse on my first run :os. Now if it will just drop down to a normal temperature I will shift this thing into high gear!
Well, I have to go....Mommy duies call. But I'll check in again soon.
I am a wife to an amazing man, a Mom to 4 boys and step-Mom to 3 girls. I love every little bit of my life. Happiness was not always a part of my life. Now that I have it....I am holding onto it with a nice firm grip...:o) Me in a nut shell...
